Locke and Demosthenes

Who is John Locke and Demothenes? John Locke is a famous philosopher and physician from the 17th century. one of the first people that was in the war. he thought that we were born without thought and that we get them through experiences. able to pursue your own needs. social contract is the relationship between the government and individuals in the government
Demothenes thought that his state was becoming smaller so he thought that his state should break away from Greece. he is against what everyone else thinks. he was a radical who opposed the rule of Athens by Macedonia (cold war- there was no battle. they use threats of persuasion - FEAR. wont win public favor. he underestimates people fear of Russia. marsaw pact important - keeps all together to fight buggers
Give a summary of each (2-3 sent) and describe how they are related to Valentine and Peter (2-3 sent). I think that Demothenes relates to peter because they are both sort of people who like power and are disliked by many people and they both have a fear of Russia.  john locke is like valentine

Summarize Peter and Valentine's position that they take on the nets.

What role does fear play into how successful Valentine and Peter are?
